Teri Yaad Teri yaad first Pakistani film
Teri Yaad is a Pakistani Urdu language film released on Eid on 7 August 1948 in the newly formed state of Pakistan. Starring Naseer Khan and Asha Posley. It was the first film to be released after Pakistan's independence on 14 August 1947. In 1947 India was partitioned and the state of Pakistan was born. During this period, the Indian film industry was separated and the only remaining center of film production in Pakistan was in Lahore. The film stars Asha Posli and Naseer Khan, brothers of the famous Indian actor Dilip Kumar who used to live in Bombay, India. The soundtrack was written and composed by Inayat Ali Nath.
