Ahsan Khan (born 1981) is an British-Pakistani actor. She started acting in 1998. She appeared in the films Nikah, Billi, Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Sultanate, Ishq Khuda, Dil Mera Dhadkan Teri and later turned to television. He hosted the Hayya Allal Falah Quiz on Hum TV during Ramadan in 2011. Ahsan Khan also hosted the Ramadan Show 2020 which aired on PTV Home called Ramadan Pakistan. He was born in London on 9 October 1981 to a family of five children; an older brother, two older sisters and a twin brother, a writer and poet (Yasir Khan) from London. He was the only one pursuing acting, and when his family moved back to Lahore, he earned an MA in English Literature from Government College University. According to Khan, his father is half Pashto and his mother is Punjabi.
Khan started acting when he appeared in the 1998 film Nikah and played Hans Ki Chaal for PTV that same year. Ahsan later appeared in the films Ghar Kab Aao Gay (2000) and Billi. He then turned to television, appearing in many television dramas throughout the 2000s and 2010s. She hosted Hayya Allal Falah Quiz on Hum TV during Ramadan in 2011. She received recognition for her role in the 2016 drama Udaari. Since 2016 he has also produced with the socially relevant series Dukh Sukh who is "tired of the same 'saas bahu' dramas" and has produced over twenty works for television since 2018.
In 2017, he starred alongside Neelam Muneer in the romantic comedy Chupan Chupai. The film was a commercial success. His performance in the film earned him a nomination for the Lux Style Award for Best Actor in Film. Khan was named a CLF Goodwill Ambassador by the Children's Literature Festival on 30 July 2019. In 2019 he played a central role in the famous TV series Alif. In the same year, he played the eponymous character in the comedy series Shahrukh Ki Saliyan alongside Ramsha Khan.
